A (very) simple step-by-step guide.
If you’re new to minting and buying NFTs, don’t worry, it’s pretty easy. So far, more than 5,500 of our Voxos have been minted. If they can do it, so can you.
Let’s get started.
What does minting an NFT mean?
Just like minting a dollar, minting an NFT means adding it into circulation on the market. NFTs can only be bought and sold once they are minted, or introduced, to the market.
Usually, it’s the artist who mints their NFT. They create it, they mint it, they get a commission every time the NFT is traded in the future.
There are 6313 Voxos available to mint in total. OpenSea users are able to mint a VoxoDeus NFT directly through our page. By minting a Voxo, minters are actually bringing that Voxo into existence on the blockchain. All minters are eligible for Minter Rewards.

Step-by-step breakdown of minting a Voxo NFT
You can mint your first Voxo NFT in 3 simple steps.
To get started, you’ll need ether and an Ethereum wallet.
Step 1: Set up a digital wallet
Step 2: Buy ether
Step 3: Mint Voxos on OpenSea
If you already have a wallet and ether, skip to Step 3!
Step 1: Set up a digital wallet
A digital wallet stores your digital money and also handles your identity, credentials, and more. Without it, you can’t make transactions on the blockchain. Essentially, it’s a tool that turns your actions in your browser into transactions on the blockchain.
There are a few digital wallets to choose from, all with different features and advantages. OpenSea supports Authereum, Bitski, Dapper, Fortmatic, MetaMask and Torus. We like MetaMask best and will walk you through how to set it up here. But we recommend reading up on and trying out a few wallets to find the one that works best for you.
MetaMask is a Chrome plug-in that is very easy to install and use. Here’s how to set it up:
- Go to OpenSea > tap on the profile icon > tap “Get MetaMask”.
- Tap “Install MetaMask for Chrome” > “Add to Chrome” > “Get Started”.
- Tap “Create Wallet”.
- Create a password (a good password, because your wallet will hold real valuables).
- Read through the terms and tap “Agree” (if you agree).
- MetaMask will give you a seed phrase that you can use to backup and restore your account. This is VERY IMPORTANT, so please find a secure way to store and remember it. If you ever forget your password, your seed phrase is the only way to recover your account. So don’t lose it!
- Tap “Confirm” > “Next” > “Connect” to connect with OpenSea.
Done!
Without signing up to any bank, you’ve just created a digital wallet that anyone anywhere can send digital funds to, and that you can buy NFTs with. Cool, huh?
Now you have a digital wallet, you can buy some ether.
Step 2: Buy ether
Ether (ETH) is the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum platform. It’s the second-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. As of 25 Jan 2022, a single ether is worth about US$2400.
Here’s how to buy ether using your new MetaMask wallet:
- Tap the puzzle-piece icon on the top right of your Chrome window.
- Tap the MetaMask fox icon.
- Tap “Buy” > “Continue to Wyre”.
- Specify how much ether you’d like to buy. Bear in mind there are transaction fees, so it’s better to buy all the ether you need in one go, instead of little by little.
- Tap “Next” > enter your information > tap “Submit”.
- Enter the authentication code sent to your phone.
- Authorise your purchase by entering the six-digit code for a pending Wyre transaction in your bank account.
Once the transaction is processed, you’ll see the ether available in your MetaMask wallet.
Now it’s time to mint some Voxos!
Step 3: Mint Voxos
You can mint Voxos on OpenSea, an online marketplace for NFTs. Here’s a nice overview of OpenSea and how to get started with it.
Our first 1,000 Voxo NFTs sold within 10 days. Just saying.
Okay, so to mint a Voxo:
- Go to the VoxoDeus Minter page on OpenSea.
- Tap “Buy Now” > “Checkout” > “Submit”.
- Then confirm the gas fee and you’re done.
Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of a unique, immutable, immortal Voxo!
